Living with Dying

Client: Syracuse University

Design Challenge: Designed at the anniversary of Lockerbie bombing, a 1988 terrorist attack that cost the lives of 30 SU students, the poster serves as a graphic memorial for the victims and a updated fact sheet and resource list for current students, providing information on how to cope with our loss, if anything unfortunately happens during our stay at Syracuse University.

Design Solution: The memorial poster is a graphic combination of poetry and data. Lost lives are represented by poppy flowers, with each victim’s name and age attached, blooming along the timeline. The heavy information on the other side of the poster is laid out in a way that’s very clean and subtle.
